ILTEC

I work in the “Discourse and Literacy” group of the Institute for Theoretical and Computational Linguistics (ILTEC), a non-profit organization associated with the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, the University of Lisbon and the New University of Lisbon. The group adopts a functionalist stance, seeking to describe and explain language phenomena in terms of their use in verbal interaction. My research there is currently oriented to studying the relation between Functional Discourse Grammar and dialogue.
